Redensity

Teosyal Puresense Redensity 1 is designed to prevent premature skin ageing, restore skin density, and maintain skin glow. Its award-winning unique formula uses non cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid that hydrates and repairs the skin, as well as including a unique patented formula of effective natural components. Its combination of Hyaluronic Acid with amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals infuses the skin with essential nutrients that aren’t incorporated into any other skin booster.

A full course of Redensity 1 involves three treatments three weeks apart with an increasing improvement following each treatment. Amongst its actions it specifically targets restoring facial contours and so should be considered by those wishing to return cheeks and jawline to a more naturally curved appearance. Unlike Profhilo it can be used across most areas of the face and neck and so would be more appropriate than Profhilo for those with concerns about the appearance of their forehead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Using micro-aliquots, the unique blend of non-cross linked Hyaluronic Acid, anti-oxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals is injected beneath the surface of your skin, providing instant and cumulative hydration whilst stimulating collagen production. If you have the recommended 3 treatments carried out 3 weeks apart, then a maintenance treatment is required every 4 to 6 months to maintain the effects.

Prior to receiving a treatment with Tu Aesthetica you will be required to have a face-to-face consultation with an aesthetic doctor. They will assess your medical history, discuss your wants and needs, and devise a personalised treatment plan. They will also make clear the risks and benefits of the treatments, give you the opportunity to ask any questions you have, and together you will decide if the treatment is right for you. You will also be required to have photographs taken for insurance purposes prior to any procedure.

Before undergoing Redensity skin booster treatment your aesthetic doctor will assess your anatomy and clean the area to be treated with a sterilising solution. They may wish to mark the injection sites according to your individual anatomy and will inject at a number of locations on either side of your face or neck with a fine needle.

A second and third identical treatment three weeks apart from each other will need to be undertaken to see the full effect of Redensity.

Once consent has been obtained and photographs taken, the procedure itself will take around 20-30 minutes.

Very fine needles are used, typically much finer than those used for vaccinations. Most patients comment that the treatment is only slightly uncomfortable, with some likening it to a sharp scratch.

The downtime following a Redensity 1 treatment is minimal, and you should be able to return to your normal daily activities immediately after your procedure.  However, we recommend that you avoid physical strain and sports on the first day after the treatment, and don’t have a sauna or steamy bath for the first few days.  Taking steps to avoid the sun and UV light is also highly recommended for the first few days post-treatment.

Some improvement is visible after a single treatment, with a steady brightening and revitalising of your skin throughout the full three courses, and optimum results are expected to be seen around four weeks following the third treatment.

The duration of the effect depends on the degree of correction required and the individual’s lifestyle, age and skin type. Patients who undergo a Redensity 1 treatment can expect an increase in skin redensification, hydration and tonicity. This treatment helps to restore a youthful, dewy complexion by diminishing fine lines and increasing skin vibrancy and luminosity with the effects lasting up to 9 months. Tu Aesthetica recommends top up sessions every 6 months to maintain the results.

The treatment offers long-lasting results with minimal side effects. Following injection, you may naturally experience some slight redness, swelling, itching, bruising, pain and tenderness but this will typically fade away within a few hours and is nothing to be concerned about.

Treatment with Redensity and other injectable aesthetic treatments are still largely unregulated in the UK, allowing for wide variation in the qualifications and experience of practitioners and the standard of treatment provided to patients.

At Tu Aesthetica your safety is our number one priority, and therefore, with us you will only have your injections performed by a currently practising, GMC registered, UK trained doctor. Our doctors engage in regular training to remain current, skilled, and professional in the treatments they provide. All of our Doctors work within the NHS and undergo regular appraisal and revalidation.

It is important that you feel comfortable with your doctor, not only in their ability and knowledge, but also on a personal level. We encourage all our patients to carefully research the practitioner offering them treatment, and only to make an informed decision on proceeding with treatment once they are comfortable with their experience, their qualifications, and their manner.

Unlike Profhilo, Redensity does not have a set manufacturer’s protocol. This gives more flexibility for those wishing to improve different areas of their face or neck, but means the price may vary should a patient want a larger area treated. The price quoted on our price list is for a 1ml syringe at each treatment session and anything different to this will be discussed at consultation.
