Jalupro

Jalupro is a new and exciting development in the treatment of ageing skin. This treatment is clinically proven to stimulate new collagen formation and increase elastin levels that have been depleted due to age or environmental factors. This leads to amazing improvements in skin condition, gradually increasing elasticity, improving roughness, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and other imperfections such as acne scars. Jalupro is particularly effective in the periocular area (the area around the eyes) to reduce dark circles and bags.

Its patented formula of Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, enabling extracellular matrix regeneration.

Intradermal treatment with Jalupro corrects and protects the dermis from signs of ageing. Jalupro is the only natural product in professional dermo aesthetics that stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, restoring skin elasticity and volume.

Frequently Asked Questions

Prior to receiving a treatment with Tu Aesthetica, you will be required to have a face-to-face consultation with an aesthetic doctor. They will assess your medical history, discuss your wants and needs, and devise a personalised treatment plan. They will also make clear the risks and benefits of the treatments, give you the opportunity to ask any questions you have, and together you will decide if the treatment is right for you. You will also be required to have photographs taken for insurance purposes prior to any procedure.

Before undergoing Jalupro treatment your aesthetic doctor will assess your anatomy and clean the area to be treated with a sterilising solution. They may wish to mark the injection sites according to your individual anatomy and will inject at those specific locations on your face.

A second identical treatment four weeks after the first will need to be undertaken to see the full effect of Jalupro.

Once consent has been obtained and photographs taken, the procedure itself will take around 20 minutes.

Fine needles are used, typically finer than those used for vaccinations. For most patients though the procedure is easily tolerated, and you should remember you can stop any procedure at any time.

The downtime following a Jalupro treatment is minimal, and you should be able to return to your normal daily activities immediately after your procedure.  However, we recommend that you avoid physical strain and sports on the first day after the treatment, and don’t have a sauna or steamy bath for the first few days.  Avoiding the sun and UV light is also highly recommended for the first few days post-treatment.

Jalurpo remodels the skin after two to three treatments four weeks apart resulting in tighter, more hydrated, smoother, and more radiant skin. The full effects of Jalupro will not be seen until four weeks after your second treatment, but you should notice a continuous improvement in skin quality from the end of your first treatment and your skin should look increasingly bright and more revitalised over this time.

Patients who undergo a jalupro treatment can expect to see increased quality of their skin in the treatment area, with the effects lasting up to 6 months. Tu Aesthetica recommends top-up sessions every 6 months to maintain the results. With six-monthly top-up treatments, the results have been shown to improve as new collagen and elastin build in the skin.

Jalupro is a very safe treatment. Following injection, you may naturally experience some slight redness, swelling, itching, bruising (especially if the treated area is around your eyes as there are more blood vessels), pain and tenderness but this will typically fade away within a few hours and is nothing to be concerned about.

A patented formula of Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, enabling extracellular matrix regeneration.

Treatment with Jalupro and other injectable aesthetic treatments are still largely unregulated in the UK, allowing for wide variation in the qualifications and experience of practitioners and the standard of treatment provided to patients.

At Tu Aesthetica your safety is our number one priority, and therefore, with us you will only have your injections performed by a currently practising, GMC-registered, UK-trained doctor. Our doctors engage in regular training to remain current, skilled, and professional in the treatments they provide.  Our doctors also work within the NHS and undergo regular appraisal and revalidation.

It is important that you feel comfortable with your doctor, not only in their ability and knowledge, but also on a personal level. We encourage all our patients to carefully research the practitioner offering them treatment, and only to make an informed decision on proceeding with treatment once they are comfortable with their experience, their qualifications, and their manner.

Jalupro treatment is undertaken following a specific recommended manufacturer’s protocol stating dose and injection locations. For this reason, it is unlike our dermal filler and anti-wrinkle injections where any treatment is bespoke according to factors such as patient anatomy and desired end result, and as such Jalupro is offered at a set price for anyone wishing to receive the benefit of its skin-boosting effect.
